There's something so hauntingly beautiful about birds. I don't know why, but I' m intranced by them. They're so intangible...unreachable...
Sure, you can cage them. Clip their wings to keep them grounded. But they still have a certain essence about them. So fragile... One little bump against an all too clean window and it's curtains (no pun intended). Yet, when I get the chance to hold one...there is power beyond measure in that little body.
And the ability to fly. What I would give...
